Pick up from your hotel between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m. Once the entire group is assembled, we will depart north. Our first visit will be to Chinchero, a picturesque town where we will be able to see agricultural terraces, the remains of the royal estate of Túpac Inca Yupanqui, the beautiful colonial temple built on the foundations of an Inca building, and observe the entire wool process from washing and spinning to becoming beautiful textiles. Continuing our tour, we will arrive at Moray, where we will observe several natural holes that were once terraces for agricultural experiments. We will then continue to the Maras Salt Mines, where we will observe the natural process of salt extraction that dates back to the time of the Incas. Then we head towards the Ollantaytambo Fortress, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions by jungle dwellers. Upon finishing, back on the bus, we head to the town of Urubamba, where we will have our buffet lunch. After lunch, we will head to the town of Pisac where we will visit the Pisac Archaeological Complex, built during the Inca Pachacuteq period. Its location is strategic, since it is located on top of a mountain, which allows it to have a view of the entire valley that went to Antisuyo. At the end of the tour, we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving in Cusco at approximately 7:00 p.m.
